Tax Deposit Almost Reaches IDR 1,230 T

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance is optimistic that this year's revenue can reach the target. Moreover, a week before the end of the year, there was only a little less.

According to the DGT's records, as of December 23, 2021 at 19.01 WIB, tax revenues have reached 98% of the target. Meanwhile, in the 2021 APBN, the target for tax revenues is IDR 1,229.6 trillion.

"(Tax revenue) has reached 98%," wrote the DGT in its official twitter account quoted on Friday (12/24/2021).

This revenue was supported by businesses starting to grow, especially from the mining sector, which increased by 219% until the end of November 2021. This sector increased sharply due to a sharp increase in demand and prices for mining commodities.

The increase in the price of mining commodities is like a 'collapse of durian' for Indonesia. Some of the mining commodities whose prices have soared are coal, nickel and tin.

In addition, more and more Tax Offices (KPP) whose receipts have penetrated 100%. As of December 22, KPP whose receipts reached the target reached 97 offices from Aceh, Jakarta to North Sumatra.

Then, there are also five regional offices whose receipts have reached the target of 100%, namely the Regional Office of DJP South Jakarta I, Regional Office of DJP Jakarta Special, DJP of Large Taxpayers, DJP of North Sulawesi and North Sumatra and DJP of North Jakarta.

"DGT continues to strive to meet the target of state revenue through all its vertical agencies. We expect support from all components of society so that DGT can achieve the national tax revenue target as set," said Director of Extension, Services and Public Relations of DJP Neilmaldrin Noor.
